FAQ

  • What subjects does the learning pod cover?
    Through a hands on learning approach, we will be implementing science and social studies through unit studies. Each unit study will last approximately a month. Therefore, students can get a better understanding of the unit of topic.
  • What is your refund policy?
    Refunds are assessed on a case by case basis and will only be considered after the cutoff date from registration.
  • What is a learning pod?
    A learning pod is a small group of students learning together in a more personalized setting outside of a traditional classrooms.
  • Can I bring a snack for my child to have in class?
    Yes. Just please keep in mind that we share the room with other programs. Therefore, you must pick up after yourself and any garbage that you have.
  • When is tuition due?
    Tuition is due by the 3rd of every month.
  • I see that you host at a church, is your program religious based?
    Our program is secular. Meaning it is not religious based.
  • What happens if I am late?
    We understand that emergencies occur and parenting may sometimes be a little unpredictable. Our class will run from 10:00am -12:00 pm. We will provide families with a 10 min grace period, but please keep in mind the time we are given at the church along with time of other families. If you do happen to come in late, quietly join us in the activity and engage in the lesson.
  • Can I stay in the class with my child?
    Absolutely! We strongly believe that parents play a crucial role in their child's academic journey and are expected to be active participants.
  • What is the maximum number of students per learning pod?
    At the Creative Teaching nest we want to ensure we provide quality education and attention to your child's academic journey. Our goal is to provide educational value to families that join our nest. Therefore the maximum group size is 15 students.
  • If my child has an RBT can he/she attend the class with him/her?
    Yes, the RBT must be an active participant, just like any parent. At no time should the RBT be using their phone, as they are responsible for fulfilling their duties during working hours.
  • What happens if a student misses a session? What happens in the case of bad weather?
    Since we host our learning pod at a church and reserve the specific day and time, unfortunately we can't grant any makeup sessions. If you do happen to miss a class, the resources & materials we used will be given to you in your next class session. Please keep in mind once you pay registration & tuition, there are no refunds. In the case of bad weather, we will advice you via our communication app.
